February 10, 2017

February is a month where we talk a lot about love because lets be honest, Valentines day is all about spreading the love. But for me, I don't like to focus on just one day of expressing my love...I prefer to share my love for others and myself all the time! Because why not?! I deserve it and so do the people that I love in my life.

So, here are some of my favourite ways to share the love... and they don't require a whole lot of effort!

  • Doing something that makes me smile each day. For me, that could simply be going for a walk with my husband, creating a new recipe to test out or watching one of my favourite people on TV...ELLEN!
  • Paying my husband or a special person in my life a compliment.
  • Indulging in my favourite foods - and these are often healthy foods but I do still have guilty pleasures :)
  • Sending a thoughtful text or email to someone, just because.
  • Pampering myself. Lately, I've been really into making my own all natural body products and I've shared a delicious recipe below that you should definitely try!
  • Catching up with friends and family.

So instead of just using Valentines day to spread the love, try doing something every single day for yourself or someone else. Trust me, it feels pretty good!

And now, as promised…. Here's a delicious edible body butter recipe for you to try! Enjoy it for yourself, or perhaps you may want to try it out with that special someone...
